IRB Racing Team
Bancoora has a very active IRB racing team. In the past few seasons we have completed in LSV’s state competitions, and made the journey up to Queensland for SLSA IRB Australian Titles.
IRB racing involves using our inflatable rescue boats (the red ones) to do rescue like races, involving an IRB driver, IRB crew & patients in the water. We compete in competitions in the off season from April to July, in various locations across the state.

Wave Warriors
All Nippers are very warmly welcomed to join in our Wave Warriors squad.
Wave Warriors is ran by a team of members who are seeking to develop our Nippers and Young Guns in surf skills and competition skills. Some of our Wave Warriors have also begun competing at local carnivals. If your kids are interested in taking the next step in their skills development, come and try Wave Warriors.
It is run every Sunday at Bancoora Beach at 9:30AM for Under 10 age groups and above. Anyone interested can email: enquiries@bancoora.asn.au for more information.
