Nippers Registrations now CLOSED for 24/25 Season. All other membership renewals still avaliable.
The Bancoora SLSC Committee are pleased to announce that membership applications for the 2024/25 season will open from Monday 7 October.
This season we have changed our process slightly so please take the time to read through this information.
From Monday 7 October to Monday 21 October Nipper registrations will be open to returning families only.
From Tuesday 22 October registrations will open for all new families (including transfers from other Surf Clubs).
Due to an increase in water safety personnel (thank you to our new volunteers!) this seasons we have a maximum capacity of 28 Nippers per age group. There is no cap on Mozzies or Young Guns.
Registrations for capped age groups will close as they reach capacity.
Registration for ALL age groups will close Sunday 24 November.
Memberships for patrolling or standard members are open from Monday 7 October.
Applications will only be processed if we have received all the relevant information and fees. This includes a current Working with Children Check which has been verified by Service Victoria.
Once your application has been processed and finalised, you will recieve a membership pack via email (sent to the primary email address for families). The pack will include further information on key dates, preperation and other key information.

Working with Children Checks
All members of the age of 18 will require to hold a current Working with Children Check. Safeguarding children and young people is everyone’s business. Life Saving Victoria and affiliated clubs need to fully comply with the Child Safe Standards from 1 January 2017.
It is imperative that we provide a safe and supportive environment for children and young people and, because of the nature of our Club facilities Bancoora SLSC require ALL members aged 18 and over (despite contact with children under 18) to hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC). WWCCs are free for volunteers and last for 5 years.
